This client manufactures and markets various products throughout Europe. Tax incentives are available by the authorities of the Canary Islands to companies willing to locate manufacturing facilities to the Canary Islands. The project was to write a business plan that clearly described and evaluated the possible benefits of moving some production to Grand Canaria. In addition to the marketing and commercial issues the plan also included a comprehensive review of the possible social implications surrounding the facilities facing possible closure.
